WELCOME TO SURREY! When you first arrive at Surrey to move in, you will be welcomed by a whole team of Freshers Angels; be sure to look out for these friendly faces... they're usually in yellow t-shirts with silly dance moves! They will be around to help you with anything you may need such as finding your halls, answering any queries about where things are and giving you the best tips and recommendations to begin your university experience!

Friday 25th September - Freshers Fair

Freshers' Fair is the highlight of Freshers' Week! We would highly recommend using the fair as your opportunity to get a real sense of the activities that there are available at Surrey for you to get involved in. In attendance at the fair will be over 200 sports clubs and societies, University departments, and services,  volunteering opportunities, local businesses and charities... so it's the perfect way to kickstart and enrich your university social life and hobbies!

 Be sure to get your arms ready and your email ready as you begin your Surrey life with a bucket load of information and a bag full of freebies!

Hari's Bar

Welcome to your Students' Union Bar! Hari's Bar was established in 1997 and has been a staple of Surrey student life ever since! This is where you find the cheapest pint on campus, and a whole host of entertainment including Hari's Challenge Student Pub Quiz every Tuesday from 7:30pm and Open Mic Night held every Thursday from 8pm! With a range of drinks from Brewdog Beers, to Tropical VK's... Hari's Bar has it all for you! Check it out on the link below!

The Lake

The lake on campus is a beautiful hotspot and hub of vibes throughout the year... we aim to bring the feel of the festival here with bbqs, outdoor cinema, Buttons Bar, street food vendors and loads more! Want to chill out? During the day the lake is the perfect place to socialise, grab some Instagram worthy pictures or to read a book! Keep an eye out for any special activities we run here; they're never to be missed!
