Who are we?

Marrow is the student-run branch of the Anthony Nolan Charity.
We help to save the lives of people with blood cancer by signing students up to the bone marrow/stem cell register, and also raise vital funds for the charity.
You can volunteer with us to help Anthony Nolan save lives!

How to find us!

How can YOU be a lifesaver?

This couldn’t be more simple: you just need to fill in a form and do a cheeky swab of your mouth.
If you were ever found to be a match for someone with blood cancer, you would then be asked to donate your bone marrow or stem cells.
Less than half of the people needing a stem cell transplant can find a match, which is why it’s so important for you to sign up!
You can find out more information by coming along to one of our recruitment events or visiting www.anthonynolan.org.

It costs approximately £60 to sign one person up to the register so we work very hard to raise funds for Anthony Nolan.
We hold lots of fundraising events both on and off-campus, so come and say hello if you see us around!

Surrey Marrow relies on volunteers to help run all of our events – the best way to find out more is to become a member on the USSU website!
We always welcome new volunteers to help us out, so if it’s something you might be interested in, why not visit us at one of our next events or contact us via Facebook or email!
Not only could you help save lives, but you could improve your CV and get involved in some of our socials!
