While Surrey Nightline's traditional call and text services are suspended, we've opened a new email service so our volunteers can still work to support you in this difficult time.

You can email at any time, and our volunteers will aim to respond within 48 hours. Your email will be ANONYMISED, and as usual, our service is there to support you, whether that's discussing heavy topics or just having a chat!

To email us, please log in to the Union website with your student account.

whatis.pngImage captioning: What is Nightline? Nightline is a listening service for students, run by trained student volunteers. You can call us to talk about any problem, ask a few questions, or get something off your chest. Nightline is confidential and anonymous, so you don't have to tell us anything about yourself, not even your name. The content of the call never leaves Nightline. You can talk to us about any problem, big or small, in complete confidence. We aren't here to judge or advise you, just to listen and support you through whatever it is you're going through.

Image captioning: What could I contact Nightline about? Some examples are: if you are having relationship troubles, if you have been through a traumatic experience, or are feeling homesick, stressed, lonely, down, or depressed, if you need a taxi number, can't sleep, are having suicidal thoughts, are struggling with an addiction, are walking alone at night, or if you feel as though you have nobody to talk to.
